I love all the cobalt blue in this outfit. The fabric you picked for that skirt is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks nice! I may have to try that tutorial.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as usual, I'm very impressed that you made that skirt! Sewing pleats into clothes has always been beyond my skill level.
You made that skirt? Talent, girl!
ReplyDeleteI love this bun on you! I really like this outfit especially the skirt. I hope you had a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeletePretty bun you got there little lady! I love your all blue (almost all blue) look today too! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think it came out really great! And now I totally miss having longer hair...

cute hairdo. I've tried to create this look with my own hair and failed miserably. I think its just too thin or I'm just terrible at doing my own hair.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I can never manage to knot my tops and make them look cute like you!
ReplyDeleteLove your skirt - and even more knowing that you made it!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is nice,lovely skirt.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you would like to follow each other:).

i love top knots! :) and it's such a good idea to omit the hairspray when trying out a hairstyle for the first time. :D

ReplyDeleteI love that skirt---the pattern and pleating are fabulous! Your hair looks great like this...perfect for the summer heat!
ReplyDeleteYou did a RAD job on the big bun. I love it on you!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great with your hair up! I tried the one where you tie it in a knot - kind of - but it didn't go so well. I'll have to try this one.
ReplyDeleteI love the color cobalt!
Great look! Love your skirts! Would you like to follow each other?
ReplyDeleteLove,

Awe, your hair bun is so pretty! I, too, fear spraying my hair when experimenting with hairstyles for that reason exactly. The "what if" factor, ohoho. That bun seems like an awesome way to keep hair out of the way though.
ReplyDeleteGold, royal blue, and red. Oh yes, this is a fantastic combination indeed. I love how you added in the mint, too.
beautiful clutch and the outfit is perfect casual!!!
ReplyDeletethe hair-do looks lovely and its a great way to beat the heat.
ReplyDeleteYour skirt and shoes are so nice!:) Good choices!

love the way the bun turned out! I usually use a bun maker sponge I bought from ebay for about a $1 and it gives the same effect. Love the stripe clutch with the printed skirt, it's very chic and trendy :)

What a super cute outfit. I love how you paired the green shoes and red clutch with the navy outfit. Such a cute color combination. And, I'm so jealous of your bun! I wish my hair was long enough to do this.

Love the whole outfit, but especially the knot in your shirt! It gives it so much extra pizazz than just tucking it in! May just have to try that at some point... :)

Amazing outfit...love the colors...and especially the skirt!!
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like your top knot came out great!! It's so funny that when you have super long hair like we do, some of the hairdos for long hair just don't come out as great. I can't do the sock bun thing because it looks like I have a frisbee on my head!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is absolutely divine, love the print!
The bun looks awesome, and I'm a littttttle obsessed with your pattern mixing - so cute!

This skirt looks very very classy with a similarly colored shirt and the gold jewelry! Sometimes I wish I had hair that was long enough for a big bun, but I think I look so Asian with my hair like that, so I probably wouldn't do it anyway... yeah I'm probably just being ridiculous. Have you ever tried the sock bun? That one's pretty popular, though I don't exactly know how it works.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - i had not seen you wear that skirt in ages!
