Pave the way

Over the weekend Christine and Meg came to go thrifting in my neck of the woods, and it was a reasonably successful trip. We went to three stores and both Christine and I spent $9 in the last one. Christine was sensible and got a pair of black pumps. I got leopard print pants.

I received some lovely new accessories from LydellNYC - the pavé chain link bracelet is clearly right up my alley (it matches my new ring! why can't everything just be covered in crystals?), and the bold statement necklace is great as well.

You may notice some continuity errors with the necklace however; as we were taking photos I said to Meg, "Make sure you get a close up of the necklace." And Meg replied, "What necklace? You aren't wearing one!"

At which point I was convinced I had lost it when I was trying things on in the thrift store, and Christine suggested we call them to go and see if it was in the dressing room there... but then I found it; in my shirt. How I failed to realized a big metal necklace was there is beyond me.
