What's worse is that I don't think I've worn either the dress or the jacket since I last wore them together... and that was over a year ago.
I think I'm in need of some style inspiration for both of these pieces!

I actually am in a similar situation and I can't get out of a style "slump" with two pieces of clothing that I always wear together.
ReplyDeleteIt is so lovely on you though!
I have a few pieces that, for some reason, I only wear when paired with each other even though they're perfectly versatile enough to be worn in a lot more ways. I suppose I'm just opting for easy way of creating looks with them...

If it works, you should roll with it. Loving your shoes too.
ReplyDeleteI think this dress would look great with black opaque tights and a black blazer. I love black and white for fall. Just an idea :)

You did a great job styling it! There are so many options you can do for both pieces. The jacket would also look great with pants. The dress would look great with a color jacket or black jacket and dark tights. Fabulous clutch!

Well I do love that combo, especially with the sassy leopard shoes!! I think both pieces can be worn in lots of ways, but I can see why you put them together--they really balance each other out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteTo repeat an outfit is human...lol. I always think I shouldn't post a combination I've worn before, but that's sort of crazy. If it's gorgeous, rock it again. Plus, most of us won't remember unless you tell us :P
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely as always.
Wow! LOVE this look! Super cute and chic! xoxo The Golden Girls
ReplyDeleteOhh, Lyddie, that dress is much too pretty! I hope you wear it more. I think it would look very nice with those studded fold over black boots of yours and some tights and a leather jacket. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am forever envious of all your bracelets. You're the bracelet stacking QUEEN.
ooooh, I so love this outfit, Lyddie. And I can see why you'd want to always wear those pieces together! They really complement each other really well! I adore the lining in that jacket!

I love this :D And yea, I have the same problem sometimes, I have a way I like to wear something and get stumped on how to wear it with other pieces. I would try the top with jeans and heels :D Maybe a long sleeve sweater under it
