It can be hard to shop your own closet when there are so many cute things all the time. I should do the same as you, though. I haven't been shopping in a month and I'm kind of proud of myself! I guess that's a good and bad thing. :)
ReplyDeleteBut I love how you're wearing your quilted vest with all those colorful layers underneath. That vest was such a good piece to buy!
Woohoo for awesome layering! I agree, I get caught up in new pieces a lot too and forget about my old stand bys, I really need to try and be good and not shop anymore :p

There you go with those awesome velvet leggings again! I love them. Layering a sleaveless top under a vest and button down was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's so hard to shop in one's own closet sometimes when there's so many new things out in the stores that are just so fabulous and sometimes just too affordable not to get!! If you don't want to shop in your closet, can I shop in it?? Haha! I love love love this Lydia - that vest just tops it off!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the layering and colors in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to shop your own closet sometimes, but once I cleaned and re-organized mine, I felt a renewed love of the clothes I already own. Pinterest helps too :) Heather
I agree - I need to get better at doing that too!
ReplyDeleteI know but why is it so difficult !?
ReplyDeleteWhen I buy new things i put them in another closet so i remember they exist - which i think is the reason i sometimes forget to look in the other closet.
Good for you to be shopping your own closet! That is the best way to be budget friendly. I love the layers and all of your arm candy=D

I must do that more. I need a big sort out. I love your olive blouse.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how you're wearing this quilted leather vest, it looks so cool and earthy-edgey with the olive green top! It's always fun to find tops that you forget about at the back of the closet, I just found a few that I'd completely forgotten!
ReplyDeleteReally like the layering with the printed top underneath peeking through :)

I like that you just get a peek of the pattern so it doesn't distract from all the other cool stuff going on. The high neck of the brushstroke top looks so good.
ReplyDeletePlease just go away with that dress.
Also, I got an apartment. Moving in on Feb. 15th, thankfully it's after fashion week.
I love the way you're working the layers here. Is there anything better on mild winter days than a quilted, sleeveless vest?
ReplyDeleteNow this is how you do layers. So chic with texture, rich tones and printed detail. Suite!
