I ventured out a bit to shovel, and got to put some of my new winter gear to good use. The parka and fur hat were both Christmas gifts this past year, and the sweater is something I thrifted last week -- it was five dollars, but I had 'Sarah Bucks' my thrift stores' reward currency, so I didn't spend any real money on it.
I knew I wanted to pair it with the gingham shirt straight away, since the colors matched and that always makes for an easy pattern mix!

ReplyDeleteYour hat... I just want to reach through the screen and touch it. I don't think you would ever get a cold head wearing that lovely hat.
Also, that poor little car of yours! I hope he is rescued soon, though I'm assuming that you wouldn't even be able to take it anywhere until the snow was cleared.
Aww, you look so cute in your snow gear! And seriously, who does name these storms?!
ReplyDeleteI asked my self the exact same thing! Who names them? ha ha, anyways you look so cute and chic in the snow! You made that shovel look very fancy!

Seriously. Sandy, Nemo... Such wimpy names for such serious storms!
ReplyDeleteI really like this plaid and sweater combo. Very cute. Can't believe it was only $5/free! I have such terrible luck at thrift stores. I guess I have to browse more often to get lucky.
I'm so glad you were able to get out. I wish spring upon you as soon as it can happen. Unless you really like the winter. Then I guess I don't wish spring upon you so quickly. Lol.
