Literally. I stepped out to the edge of the road and the cars stopped to let me jaywalk. I did it three times just to be sure, and one time it was a cop. I'm not sure if that counts less or more. Either way, this is by far the brightest, most neon, most traffic stopping blazer in existence and for once I'm grateful that I'm single, because I know if I had a boyfriend he'd be full of backhanded comments about looking I should be directing traffic or working on the side of the road.
No, I can revel in the obscene brightness of the blazer in peace.
The Rundown
I love that we are both wearing neon in our posts. Also, boyfriends do NOT get the neon thing so you are super lucky that there wasn't one there to make snarky comments.
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness - I LOVE that neon blazer! So fun and so awesome that it helped you stop traffic :)

Stopping a cop car is like, ten people. So you totally stopped traffic 12 times, Lyddie. That blazer does seem like quite the traffic stopper, though, and I love how you didn't stop with the neon with it alone--the way your blazer follows the lines of the neon on your skirt is just perfect, planned or not!
ReplyDeleteKeep on doin' your thing. Just don't get run over. :)
You are traffic stopping today for sure! Love the dress!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress - such a unique pattern...or combo of patterns I should say :D

Highlighter yellow has got to be my favorite neon! Even trumping pink which is huge for me! I love it. I saw this at jcp a few days ago. I got some neon coral pants for 14 bucks! Holla! LOVE JCP! wish i had one in the city!

Aside from the fact that it's really cute, there are obvious benefits to have a traffic stopping blazer - you should just keep it in your car in case you're ever running late and don't have time to get to a crosswalk! Absolutely love your dress, it's not a print I would normally expect to be attracted to but it pulled me in right away - you wear it beautifully :)
ReplyDeletexox,

I love this outfit. So cool, and a bit Proenza. Although these days everything seems to look like PS or Prabal Gurung to me!
ReplyDeletea very fun color to rock this spring.
ReplyDeleteI love all your accessories.
This is totally my style! I love neons.Target has a very similar blazer, that's where I thought it was from at first glance. How much was it? A neon blazer has been on my spring wish list, I just might have to get one from jcp.
ReplyDeleteLoooove the blazer! And that dress is fabulous - I love the slight drop-waist on it.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things in my closet that Josh gives me grief about, but I bet he would never let me hear the end of it if I bought a blazer like this one :)
