Too soon for white eyelet

I've been shopping a lot lately. I picked up this white eyelet lace top from Coco's of Madison, part of their $10 sale. This jacket came from Kohls, I had a 30% off coupon which lured me in. Anxious to wear them despite the cold, I toughed it out for a few minutes without my coat and gloves.

And I did have to take off my gloves to show off this lovely ring from RedEnvelope. It's a birthstone ring, but my recent green infatuation lead me to choose May's green onyx over my actual April stone. I blame Pantone.

I was feeling a little guilty for taking outfit photos with someone else's dog last week, so here is my lovely Chloe; though considering the bitter cold wind, she was probably wishing I just left her home.

    Aww Chloe is such a goood sport despite being cold...but as I always say - she's the best accessory :) However, I must add that your eyelet top is adoroable with the cropped tweed jacket. You must have been the poshest looking gal in the downtown area walking down with a cute little pup!

    oh my goodness, this eylet top plus the tweed jacket looks so lady-like and stylish! It's really fantastic with the cuffed jeans, very effortless.
    Poor Chloe, our dog hates the cold as well. At least she looks nice and warm though!

    This is going to sound silly, but I always appreciate it when other bloggers tough out cold weather for the sake of photos - knowing other people do it always makes me feel a little less crazy when I'm shivering in a strapless dress in March because I just can't wait to wear it :) And for the record, braving the weather, if only briefly, was the right choice - this jacket and blouse combination is gorgeous! And for that matter, so is Chloe :)
