I don't like getting flowers on predictable holidays, but it's not because I'm spoiled. I just think the holiday markup on flowers is a rip-off and I'd prefer if my husband saved our money for better things.

I agree! I love getting flowers! My husband gets me flowers every month on the 8th since we were married on the 8th. He is much more romantic than I am--usually I forget all about the "anniversary" LOL I love your monochromatic look and your flowers are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI usually buy flowers on the weekends .... split them into 2 or 3 small bouquets. One for the dining table, another one for my bedside table and a tiny one for my bathroom. If i cannot buy them, I pick the from my balcony plants or bring them from the weekend home.

There is nothing like flowers to make a girl feel special - but if you really want them, you've got the right idea; the solution is to buy yourself a bouquet! The one you picked out is so lovely, the colours remind me a lot of my wedding bouquet. And the fact that is coordinates with your outfit is just an added bonus. I'd never thought of flowers as a potential accessory, but you've officially convinced me that I need to try it!
