If you are thinking these photos look a lot nicer than they normally do, it's because my Brother took them with his 85mm f1.2 lens on a full frame camera.
Certainly beautiful, but a huge monetary investment. Perhaps someday.
I've been known for making the argument that the photographer takes a great photo, and not the camera. But when a super shallow depth of field is the ascetic you crave, it's hard to ignore the beautiful bokeh 4k will get you.
What do you think? Does your camera make your photos better?

The dress is so flattering on you! The print is beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you branched out to this silhouette because you look GORGEOUS in this dress Lydia! And yes, the photos are even better than the great quality they usually are! Having just got a new camera myself, I totally see the difference in my photos! I've even had people ask if I got a new camera because my photos are so much better!
ReplyDeleteMy camera sucks. I wish I could invest in a nice one, but not right now.

It's a fabulous dress Lydia! I love your green clutch. An expensive camera always helps, but it's also the one behind the lens that makes it happen.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! And I love your green clutch! :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is gorgeous! It reminds me of my garden in spring with all the purple crocuses.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos. I need a camera because so far my daughter uses her DSLR. Currently I am checking options and prices.

Fantastic, Lydia. I can smell the flowers on you.

These photos are gorgeous! I think a camera can have an impact on photos for sure, but a camera is only as good as the person using it... There is no way that I could pick up your brother's camera (or the one my husband uses for my photos, for that matter) and take beautiful photos with it :)
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of beautiful things, what a dress! The silhouette is unusual but I think it suits you really well and the colour palette is perfect for your skintone. You find the most amazing pieces at Coco's!
