I've done the obvious olive green, and cream. My next move was going to be brown, but I thought, "Come on now, I can do better than brown."
So we have rust.

I can't blame you for struggling to restyle this skirt - although I love earth tones, I find them harder to mix and match than, say, jewel tones. The skirt is beautiful, though; I love how feminine the safari print looks in gold. I would try it with navy in the fall, or maybe even oxblood? I mean, if you're a colour lover, why not go crazy?

Love that skirt! Maybe try pairing it with a lighter shade of green, yellow maybe purple?
ReplyDeleteRust is a beautiful option for this skirt. I'd try turquoise. Because, really, what doesn't look good with turquoise?!
ReplyDeleteI like the rust. I would probably be boring and go with white haha.
ReplyDeletegorgeous colors on u!
ReplyDeleteXO Meghan
this is a FAV color combo of mine..screams fall and cooler temps to me..which is TOTALLY where my head is at right now
ReplyDeleteHope you are well!

Have you tried a really bright pink or fuschia or purple shirt with it? For some reason I think that would look cool, in lieu of the color wheel... maybe something bright in general. Might end up too crazy though. I personally like how you kept it toned down with the rust! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd try a pop of color - turquoise, red, raspberry, purple, royal blue, bright yellow, even orange!
ReplyDeleteHmm... maybe you can wear it with white (i am sooo creative) or orange or turquoise ?
ReplyDeleteI like it with this shirt, but I totally would have worn hot pink. You know I'm a crazy like that :)
ReplyDeletelove the colors you decided on! that top would also look amazing with a raspberry red or a plum come fall, basically anything jewel tone would be amazing!
