I think I'd choose a funny one. Those are always the most amusing to look at.

Boat names can be pretty funny - I think that dress is really pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteGreat look, love how you paired the moto vest with the dress. Love it.
ReplyDeleteA sailboat would be fun, I get motion sickness so my time on a boat would be very limited!
I hope one day you will get your dream boat! You just never know.

Your summer pictures are always my favorite! Loving the scenery!
ReplyDeleteI love how you layered the vest with the dress, so pretty! There's so many marinas by me but sadly I don't have a boat either.

ReplyDeleteBoat names are definitely interesting... I would go with funny too :) Love that dress on you!

Aw to own a boat would be divine! My dad had a teeny little metal thing and he named it Dana or something like that. It wasn't anything fancy at all, but I do remember the few times I got to go with him on it were so fun. I love your pretty dress and vest today!
ReplyDeleteBest name for a boat EVER! Great vest and dress combo.
ReplyDeletehaha...love the boat name! And you look super cute as always! Love the vest!

I have always dreamed of owning a sailboat. However, that likely isn't a good idea for someone who has no clue how to sail, especially if that person never learned to swim.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so pretty. I love the print.

Lovely dress on you. And I love how you've styled it with the vest too.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour and print of the dress.
ReplyDeleteLooking glorious.

Ah, the shoes are perfect with that dress. I love the colors and floral! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery chic!
ReplyDeleteso stylish! loving that dress!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, it totally makes sense that you would want to own a boat, Lyddie! Why, you could name it after a reference, like Ursula (heehee), or something dramatic, like Black Storm. Those are all so dark and evil sounding... hahaha. Or you could always go with Sea Bitch, like that one in Game of Thrones... Amphitrite is pretty, though!
ReplyDeleteGosh dangit, I don't even want a boat and now I want to think of a name for mine.
Okay. Onto the outfit. You're looking very cute in your gold and white and pink, Lyddie. I will always like that dress and forever be impressed by how many different ways you've come to style it!
I am with you on choosing a sailboat, but then again once I found out how much hard work it is to sail, I'd probably say forgetaboutit!
ReplyDeleteLove the vest and dress
Brett
I think having a friend who owns a boat would be even better ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely colors on you!
Boat names and horse names are the funniest! Love that one! Great dress Lydia.

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit girl.

ReplyDeletei love this white denim vest! what a great way to add some texture to the outfit!
cute & little
I think a boat would be so nice while I was sailing, but man... then you have to take of that thing. And dock it and clean it and... I would probably have to hire someone to do all of that.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is one of my favorites!
i am sooo sad that the grayson in that color is sold out!! i need it!!!!! :)

This post made me laugh - I'm terrifed of boats, and water in general, but I love boat names. We often walk along the canals here and read all of the silly and strange names of French boats. I'm with you - I think the funny ones are best :) And I think your outfit is pretty much perfect for when you do own your boat someday. Such a cute dress!
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
I'm sure you'll get your boat someday. I'd go with a funny name personally. So you smile every time you see your boat's name. I really like how you accessorized your dress!
ReplyDeleteAmazing accessories! xx

I laughed so hard when I read this post. In fact, my office workers probably think I am crazy because I laughed so hard.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous. I have a question, do you always get things altered? You always look like you had them made for specifically you!
Oh I am boring so I would name it after myself or after my dogs.
ReplyDeletei have a friend who use to own a yatch and it was called "In the meantime we drink" although now that i thin of it i never drank while on board.
I love that dress. You once wore it with a green cardigan which also looked amazing! A really pretty piece for summer :)
