Preppy LBD

The white contrasting trim and cute flared skirt really drew me to this dress. If I had to classify my style, I suppose I would say I'm a bit preppy. But only in the sense that I love stripes and anchors and occasionally some quirky footwear.

Most of my little black dresses are more for evening wear, so finding this one for under $25 at ThredUP seemed like a great closet addition. I would definitely wear this to brunch, or the office, or even a backyard picnic... but that's just me.

    You can pretty much never go wrong with an LBD... especially if you accessorise with red. I love the way your clutch and sandals pop against this classic dress :)

    This absolutely reminds me of the dress Julia Roberts wore to the Academy Awards a long time ago... it was a vintage Valentino stunner. Definitely a great find!
