Every year I allow myself to add a new coat to my collection, and these are some contenders:
Windowpane print is everywhere this season, including the ladies country clothing at House of Bruar, but this one is subtle enough to long outlast the trend.
Tweed Mac Coat, $440 at House of Bruar
A great length to wear over a dress and so classy, why not show up to holiday parties in style?
C.Luce Zip Coat, $110 at Piperlime
These stripes and buttons are so fun and nautical, so obviously I love it.
Striped Pea Coat, $120 at JCP
The color is fun, but I'm really smitten with the tulip hem and asymmetrical zipper. Tried this one on in navy at TJMaxx and I was reluctant to take it off.
French Connection Cutaway Coat, $217 at Nordstrom
Sometimes you need a big puffy coat and there is no way around it. Love how this one has a two way zipper and a belted waist.
Barbour Arctic Parka, $445 at House of Bruar
Contrasting leather sleeves are another big trend this year, and the fact that these are quilted makes them all the better. The huge collar is another nice detail.
Quilted Sleeve Coat, $142 at ASOS
This is a PR collaboration, my views and opinions are my own.
That red one with the tulip hem is fantastic! You'd look great in it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat striped pea coat is so cute

My vote is for the white coat, seriously in love with it!!
ReplyDeleteMy coat collection seems to be growing surprisingly quickly this year... and if I could find a way to get to JC Penney, I'd be picking up that striped pea coat, too! What an absolutely adorable piece. I hope it winds up being your choice, I'd love to see how you style it :)

I really love the striped one and the one with leather sleeves! Though of course, I love me a good workhorse too. Especially when that winter wind sets in, fur hoods are necessary!
ReplyDeleteThe quilted one from Asos and the French Connection coat are my two faves. I am the same way though. I don't really jive with cold weather, but outerwear is just so stunning.

Love the white and red ones! I'm sad that I don't really have an excuse to buy a winter coat since it's definitely not cold in California! I have one winter coat at my parents house in PA but I would love to add more!

I have a huge love for outwear too. At this moment I have an incredibly long list of coats and jackets and there is even a cape or two that I would love to own. I love the coats you have pictured above.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I didn't see this post on Friday! I love that red coat. It is just enough detail to be interesting and not like other coats but still be classy.
