Love letter to Brooklyn

It was love at first sight. Way back when I first started looking for a suitable camera bag that could combine function and style, ONA's Brooklyn Satchel was my top choice.

However I was feeling limited by my budget and decided to buy ONA's bag insert instead. It allowed me to use any bag that was large enough as a camera bag and that worked out quite well... until I got the most wonderful email from Liz at Young Adventuress telling me I had won her giveaway for the Brooklyn!

I must say, she is a beautiful bag. It is very sturdy and well made. The leather looks and feels wonderful, and ONA states that it is made from full-grain leather, which is the highest quality leather there is. On a separate sartorial search, I was looking for the perfect brown leather satchel and I came across Saddleback bags, where I learned all about how leather is made and how full-grain compares to all other types of leather. The bottom line is that it should last forever.

Brooklyn is both the perfect satchel, and the perfect camera bag. I look forward to using and traveling with her to many exciting places for years and years... probably for the rest of my life.
