New Years Eve Style

This little gold dress was picked up on clearance last January at a local shop called Ciao Bella, and as unfortunate as it is that it sat unworn for an entire year, it's nice to have something new in the closet ready to go.

I've mentioned before how underrated long sleeve dresses are, because truly, not having to worry about an extra layer to keep my arms from freezing in the middle of the winter is a wonderful thing. This dress is also ridiculously comfortable and sparkly without being over the top. Perfect for ringing in the new year tomorrow night!

    Long sleeves are so underrated. I love the look of 3/4 sleeves, I admit, but in the winter nothing feels better than being able to bury your cold hands in long sleeves when you need to! I'm always amazed that people are able to hold onto pieces for a long period of time without wearing them - I can barely restrain myself from wearing new purchases out of the store when I leave with them! But I think it would be nice to look in my closet and find something genuinely new on a special occasion, without having to spend any money. Especially if it looked like this dress. It fits you like a dream! And the fact that you paired it with your leopard coat doesn't hurt at all, in my opinion ;)

    I am making a vow for all of the dresses I buy in January or February have to have long sleeves! They just aren't practical otherwise! I don't understand why getting a long sleeve, cute dress is so hard!
