Is it strange to say that I am looking forward to when it's 50° and I can rave about how warm it is?

I always count flats as acceptable if the sidewalks are shoveled. I love the gold flats with this plaid blazer! We've been blessed, but I can't wait for the days of CONSTANT nice, sunny weather!
ReplyDeleteI love that belt...such a cute little detail with the tassel! I can't remember the last time I wore flats, my feet are always freezing so I stick to boots.

I love the subtle waves in your hair in these photos - the look really suits you! and okay, maybe the gold flats weren't the best choice for the temperature but they are such a perfect match for the golden accent tones in that gorgeous blazer, I know exactly why you couldn't resist :)

Those pants were made for you. I also love the plaid blazer. So bummed that I missed out on the one you show from Target. I've been tempted to wear flats to style my outfits better and actually regretted it the day I did. Think I'll wait till it warms up (and by warm I mean maybe 45 degrees)

This blazer and all the gold accents are beyond perfect! And I totally understand wearing the shoes. I've gotten so fed up with the cold that I've just begun wearing things non-weather appropriate almost out of spite. I'm mostly freezing all the time, but screw practicality!
ReplyDeleteThis is so so cute! And I agree, I'm ready for spring and usually I don't feel this way for another month or so. :(

ReplyDeleteAway From Blue
I'm always guilty of wearing ballet flats when it's freezing outside. They're just too cute!
ReplyDeleteCan this be my favorite outfit of yours ever? Gosh dang, I love that blazer, Lyddie! Though I'm sorry your feet are probably a little less than toasty here. Those flats really do make a wonderful match to your gold accessories though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, 50 degrees is something we were graced with yesterday and it was beautiful shorts weather. Now it's back down to 20... sigh!
This is seriously just the best blazer ever and it looks so good here in the winter against the snow. I might even kind of be missing the snow a little bit... well okay, maybe not. I love snow, but rarely like the aftermath of ice and salt!
ReplyDeleteI can;t wait for Spring! love this look :)
