We might not be even midway through winter, but already I keep reaching for the same few pieces to try and stay cozy and warm. Not having a job to go to has made reaching for jeans even easier each morning, and if it weren't for this blog, I might not even bother to wear anything else.
Thankfully the blog is both a powerful motivator and tool to not fall into a style rut, no matter how cold, rainy and snowy this winter gets, however I am thinking about adding another vest to my closet. This leather one has more than proved itself, but a cozy down filled one might be a nice addition.

I've found that blogging is really, really useful for not falling into a style rut. That said, the pull of jeans is nearly irresistible to me most days...

Blogging has shown me how often I wear jeans in the winter. I'm even getting bored of my own outfits. Winter is just cruel sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love how stylish that vest is:) Kisses
ReplyDeleteReally cute quilted vest. Love it paired with that leopard.

Awwwwwww, we're not halfway through winter--so depressing!!! I am already ready for summer. How many days until Memorial Day??? I love the leopard with this vest!
ReplyDeleteFinding the motivation get really get dressed - and well-dressed - when you don't have a job to go to can be a huge challenge, so I applaud your efforts. Even though I am going to work every day, I still find it tough to want to wear anything much beyond one of my endless combinations of pencil skirt and turtleneck sweater. It's just too cold for anything else! Although I would happily swap one of my turtlenecks for your leopard sweater, what a perfect piece!

if a formula works, why change it?! Love this! SO easy, and that L necklace is so perfect on you.

Obsessed with your sweater...love how you layered the vest with it!
ReplyDeleteBahaha, it's okay to have go-to jeans. I've been secretly wearing jeggings and black tights between my colorful blog outfits, shhh!
ReplyDeleteThat vest has done you good, though. I bet it's one of your favorite pieces, and I always love seeing it!
The Willis with the red tassel detail is fab!
ReplyDeleteUgh I am totally in a style rut right now... I feel like I've been wearing the same two pairs of shoes forever! And all I've been wearing are different combinations of every piece of black clothing I own, haha.

I love the little red tassel touch on your bad! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThe power of blogging! It's the only reason I sometimes got dressed after the Holidays and between my finals, haha. I would be in leggings + sweaters all day if it weren't for that online space ^^ I love your leopard sweater! I have too little leopard in my own wardrobe :) I should do something about that next fall. xo
