I know it's not completely without it's charms - the world in white, the big soft flakes falling and nestling in my hair, a perfectly good reason to buy this down filled vest (at the thrift store for $6), however, at this point I am done with winter. Please hurry up spring!

Burgundyyyy!! Haha. Such a great snow day look! And yes, far too much snow!! I like it when it comes, melts a few days later and then comes again in another week or so. Not when it keeps piling up and making it impossible to get out of the driveway

NO DOUBT!!! Here, it has barely been bad. But I totally feel for those enduring all of the snow and freeze and sleet. Horrible! I'm always way ready for spring by January.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic outfit for a snow day. Stay cozy, lovely. xo
ReplyDeleteGreat vest! You still manage to look cute with all the bad weather! Love your layers!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that amount of snow in my life! It doesn't really snow here in Mexico, and I'm always wishing for some snow but I know that if it were me being in the middle of the snow storm I'd be crying. It must be so hard to do your normal activities when this is happening outside. On the bright side, the white snow makes a beautiful location, and your outfit is great, cozy and weather proof!

Yea it snowed last night as well but it's supposed to get up to 50 today so hopefully it'll start melting. You look like you're in a winter wonderland and I have yet to purchase snow boots. Super cute layered look.
ReplyDeleteWell looking at the bright side - you got to take so amazing pictures ;)
ReplyDeleteUgh I feel ya. We just got more snow this morning on top of two other storms in the past week. Now it's supposed to get up into the 50's in two days and I think we are going to have some flooding problems!
ReplyDeleteit was coming down! wow! i love the color of your sweater. so rich. great scarf lydia. your outfits always blend so well.

Snow has not lost its magic in your photos. I love your red sweater with your vest. It's a nice pop of color to the white snow.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun pictures I'm the snow, you look beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as these photos look, as someone who grew up on the Canadian prairies, I knew very well just how annoying and dismal this much snow can feel, particularly after Christmas. And it certainly doesn't make dressing easy, either! But I have to say, that baseball cap is proving to be such a star in your wardrobe - and it probably helped keep your hair a bit dryer, too ;)

We've had a ridiculous amount of snow days here too, I didnt get out and get any pictures though :/ Love these, you look great!

ReplyDeleteAt least you can take on winter in style!
ReplyDeleteI moved to Korea expecting to have a properly white winter (rather than the rainy one I got in Portland) and suddenly Korea is having mild winters and Portland is getting piles of snow!
I applaud you for braving the elements to take these great photos. They came out so well, and the outfit is perfect for the crazy weather!! I love the vest too...what a deal!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I really like the colors in these pictures, and that last one is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWell, you look perfectly comfy and warm with all of those layers. I love these photos! I think I am almost ready for spring ... too much snow and cold lately everywhere! :)
ReplyDeleteSo much snow and crazy weather lately, huh? Those flurries make for absolutely magical photos, though. *___* Aaah! I'm loving that you're still finding new ways to wear that cap of yours and the red is perfect for such a white-out kinda day.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't blame you at all for wanting spring to get here, I love your beautiful, snowy pictures! But yes, I'm wishing some warmer weather heads your way soon!
