While I have a ton of printed scarfs, my neutrals are significantly lacking; so when Nimli, a curated marketplace of makers and sellers, offered to send me a scarf by Kitara, I decided on a classic navy pashmina. The great thing about a scarf is that it can totally transform your look, keep you nice and warm, and also provide a great adornment for your bag when you don't want it on.
Presently, all of Nimli's Kitara scarfs are on sale, and readers of Chic on the Cheap can get an extra 20% off their order with code chiconthecheap20 through March 24th.

ReplyDeleteThe past week in Kansas has been nothing short of perfection. 65 degree days, not a jacket in site. Now it's 45 out and we have to layer up. I am definitely going to be wearing scarves more!
ReplyDeleteYay for scarves! I don't war them as often as I should, only in the morning when its freezing walking to work, haha

I don't think I could've survived this winter without my scarves! But I also like to wear lightweight ones in the spring too!

ReplyDeleteTransition weather misleading, one minute it warm and sunny and other cold wind blow away. But I'm so delighted to have at least this little bit of sunny and warm weather. It so inspire. You have found such a wonderful transition look. Lovely colors and great pairing.

I can practically see the warmth in the air in these photos! I've always thought spring must be the loveliest season in Connecticut, although I've never had a chance to see it for myself - your shots certainly do not disappoint, though :) And as for scarves, I couldn't live without them. Pretty much year round, actually. I tend to favour printed onces since most of my clothes are pattern free, but you really can't go wrong with anything in classic navy and this scarf, paired with that hat (which is making me think more and more that I need a cap in my life) is just perfect.

ReplyDeleteright now has to be one of my favorite times of the year because I like how unpredictable the weather is, hahaha! I enjoy being able to have no tights one day and bundling up the next. I dunno, it mixes things up nicely. :D
