Winter is a funny season, I feel like it stands as a reminder that you have to take the good with the bad, and take every opportunity to enjoy life. We have holidays and celebrations and time with family; reasons to look forward to winter and get us through the cold.
For me, this will always be remembered as the winter that I lost my job, and the winter that I fell in love. Now I am looking forward to new beginnings this spring.

ReplyDeleteI love your paisley printed blouse, it goes so nicely with the blazer :) And I hear you, today it's SNOWING where I am! It's supposed to be spring!
ReplyDeleteYou will find a BETTER job! Don't worry! Sometimes things end, so something better can begin. Remember that. It's always fabulous to find someone to love. So happy for you! I'm still looking for my guy. HaHaHa Great outfit Lydia! That jacket and top are so pretty together.

Such a pretty top! I like thinking of winter as a reminder to take the good with the bad. Cheers to spring and warmer weather though!
ReplyDeleteA bittersweet winter! I'm loving that top you look super chic!
ReplyDeleteHappy first day of spring! I know this winter has been a tough one for you in some respects, and a wonderful one in some others - definitely a reminder, beyond just the cold and snow, that we have to take the good with the bad and find some kind of balance in life as much as we can. The best part? The good is coming around, at least weather-wise :) I can see only the tiniest little snow piles in the back of these shots and your outfit is decidedly spring-like. That blue and white patterned top is so lovely. I do hope you have good things coming on the job front, too, but as someone who has been there before, let me just say - it's better to wait for the right opportunity than take the wrong one.

This winter may have brought you a few ups and downs but I can confidently say you looked gorgeous and impeccably dressed for all of them (like that really matters, I know, but still...).

I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost your job. this winter haven't been kind to me as well- lost my job and 3 dear and so loved person to my family. I think I haven't cried so much in such a short time in all my life. I so hope Spring and Summer will be much kinder. So delighted to have first spring day even if it came with heavy rain, but at afternoon sky cleared up and we have sunny evening. I can't put in words how much I love your pretty blouse print, blue and white is gorgeous pairing and I think suits anyone. You look so lovely.

I'm glad that your long, cold winter had an upside at least. You're going to do awesome things, Lyddie, because you're a strong lady with so many incredible abilities.
ReplyDeleteLove, love this look Lydia! Winter I think can sometimes be the worst in both temperature but also in memories. I am so happy you have fallen in love and I KNOW you are going to find a job again!
ReplyDeleteLove this look - head to toe. And that nail polish is super cute - hard to find a coral without it being too much. I think this one fits the bill!

It's so crazy how bad this winter was for the east coast. I can't believe all the snow! And I feel like I didn't have a winter here at all in Cali. I'm not complaining - it was just weird not to be able to wear my winter clothes this year! Love your white and blue patterned top!
