Time to pretend

Last Saturday boasted highs of 50°, and since the forecast for the week said that was as warm as it would be getting, I decided to pull on this chiffon maxi skirt. Sure it was super chilly in the morning, and downright freezing after the sunset, but there was that midday window of warmth when it actually felt like a proper spring day. I even celebrated by ordering my first iced coffee of the year.

    YYYEEESS! I have been waiting for this skirt to hit the blog! I love, love, love it! The length of it is just gorgeous too. I've been on a hunt for a pleated maxi skirt but realized it adds a foot around me so I need to back off that dream!

    When spring finally starts to show it's face, even only for a few hours a day, it's worth taking advantage of every minute - even if it means being cold in the morning and evening! This skirt is so beautiful, it's no wonder you wanted to get it out again. And I love the way the colour looks paired with navy and denim.

    When I saw these pop up on Flickr, I was so shocked, and in a good way! I don't think I've seen you in such a florescent shade of lilac and I luuuuhs it. :D :D So much! That skirt is sort of magical and goes so well with that boho-esque necklace of yours.

    There's a beautiful picture of Jessica Alba that floats around on pinterest - she's wearing a cropped sweater with a flowy skirt; I love it. I love this just as much. This is the closest I've seen to that picture - the colour of that skirt is perfect. Such a beautiful look!
