I could not have been more wrong.
Before leaving I became obsessed with this striped blazer from Loft. They were offering half off clearance pieces and I called my Loft to see if they had it. One size 6 in the store. I thought it would be the perfect layering piece, I'd practically wear it all weekend. And it was half off, making it the more palatable price of $42.
I only wore it this once, and I had to have a winter coat on over it. But really, I was just looking for some way to justify buying a blazer I did not need, because I already have this one, and they are really similar.
Winter weather aside, I had a great time in Boston. I got to spend time with all my Boston-dwelling friends and family members, see the miles of blooming magnolia trees down Commonwealth Avenue while daydreaming about what it might be like to live in one of those brownstones, and saw The Book of Mormon on the very last day it was in Boston; a complete of-the-moment decision, which turned out to be a very good one.

Love the navy and white together. As we speak, Boston Weather is still not what I would like it to be. I'm still wearing sweaters; but we're getting there.

Such a Great blazer and it fits you so very well. You will get lots of wear out of it and I know you already have the outfits planned. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so you may not have really needed this blazer - but it does look so lovely on you that I think the purchase was still justified. But that might be partly my bias, because now you have me thinking that I need a striped blazer. And possibly a vintage Coach bag, too!
