In springtime we wear dresses

This is what I wore yesterday for Mother's Day. I have eight previous days of outfits to blog, but these photos couldn't wait. My beloved cherry blossom trees have finally burst into life, which meant taking outfit photos at my favorite spot, and I needed to wear something 'worthy' of them.

I mixed and matched no fewer than a dozen pieces trying to come up with the perfect outfit for the cherry blossoms, until I decided on a dress. I love separates and the endless possibilities they hold, but at my heart, I am a dress girl. They work the best with my figure, aren't nearly as fussy, and wearing them always makes me feel good.

    I am also a dress girl! I prefer wearing dresses because they're simple and it relieves the stress of putting an outfit together. Great photos and beautiful dress.

    Yes! There's really nothing better than a dress to wear around. It's only one piece and then you can go to the bathroom faster since you don't have to unzip anything. Priorities, dude!

    The print on the dress is so pretty in the periwinkle blue! In the winter I tend to wear pants because I'm always cold but now that it's warm, I love to throw on a dress!

    I prefer dresses because I just feel more comfortable in them. Although often in the spring and summer I am playing with children and that is NOT child friendly so I end up wearing shorts often. No Brittney accidents that way.

    Hooray for cherry blossoms and pretty dresses! I love the chevron print on this one. I have found I'm a skirt girl mostly (cannot tell you how I've missed them so) but dresses are a close second for sure.

    Cherry blossoms and a back log of photos are my two favourite things about spring and summer. When those pink trees bloom, my mood stays good for a week no matter what is going on. And I think they may every outfit look lovelier but if ever a garment were worthy of being photographed with cherry blossoms, it is this dress. I love the combination of soft white and blue, the colours are such a perfectly natural match for pink cherry blossoms. Just gorgeous.
