Black on Black

It's a rare occasion that I would wear an all black look - even rarer in the summer, but something about the mix of the black satin with the cream leather and gold metal, just seemed to beg for more black.

I think it's good to occasionally step outside your normal style and try something a little different, even if for only a day. My abundance of white will return soon enough.

    Textures definitely make a difference when you're doing a monochrome look. So chic and such a contrast against the casual feel of the beach.

    Of course, you know my thoughts on black on black, so you know I couldn't feel anything but love for this look. But black satin shorts? It's so cliche that I almost can't say it but - I die. They are too fabulous. Especially with that beautiful studded Linnea Pelle bag beside them!

    It's also rare for me to wear head-to-toe black especially in the Summer. But between you & Alison from Get Your Pretty On who also wore black shorts with a black tee & heels last week, I am going to try this look on my own. I even have Black Satin Shorts. Your cream+gold accessories are perfect with this.
