Converse

The rarely seen Converse sneakers make an appearance! Every time I see others wearing their Chucks, I love them. I envy them. I think, "So damn cute!" and yet when I put mine on, all I think is that my feet look twice their normal size, wonder if heels would be better, and inevitably, put on heels.

But this time I decided to commit to the converse, keeping things casual in the sweatshirt dress and denim jacket, and I have decided, after much doubt and deliberation, that I look pretty damn cute in them.

    You know what is weird? When I wear actual converse I feel weird in them. My feet DO look bigger and such. Then I put on an off-brand and then I feel fine. What is with that??

    and i have the same problem, I have a Converse like pair of sneakers from H&M that I take off 99% of the time I am just about to walk out the door with them.
    In my case I replace them with flats.

    I always used to go through the exact same mental battle with my Chuck Taylors which is why, when they finally died, I didn't bother to replace them. But anytime I see anyone else wearing them - ie, you in this post - I think, I need them! I must wear them with dresses! I've had a white pair on my wishlist forever and I think this summer is the time that I'm finally going to bring them home. And undoubtedly wear them with an outfit very similar to this one ;)

    I always thought I was the only one who felt that way, I love converse Ive had the same black pair of chucks since 6 years ago, they are perfectly worn in and scuffed but I always feel like my feet so gigantic in them!
