I'm quite certain all the recent trends in pants have been engineered with the goal of letting us all feel like we are wearing pajamas. These slouchy pleated knit pants from East & Lo wear like my comfiest of lounge clothes, but with the intent of being worn out to lunch, running errands, and perhaps even to work?
I do feel that when it comes to donning borderline loungewear, heels are essential. I also decided to go for some mixed prints, and mixed neutrals. A bold cuff also conveys the idea that hanging out on the couch is the last thing on my agenda for the day.
Have you tried the slouchy pants trend? What is your go-to styling? If not, and you are still contemplating it, you should know these pants are on sale!

I've been more than contemplating them, I want some but haven't found the right pair yet! This look so cute on you. I love them with the tribal print!
ReplyDeleteI haven't found the right ones yet but I am definitely keen on trying this out - it just seems so damn comfortable. And I loved how you've styled them and given them a dash of professionalism.

Just like Courtney I'm still hunting for my pair of comfy slouchy pants, but haven't found them yet, ha ha. Loving the print mixing, definitely takes it up a notch from the people just wearing pjs in public ;)

With all of these really cute unattainable trends surfaced while I was pregnant--the origami skirt, the crop top, the two piece set--I was so bummed that I couldn't wear them. When slouchy pants were a thing, I jumped on it and I love them! Pregnant, losing pregnancy weight--it has all worked so far! I agree--better with heels if you can. You look great in these!
ReplyDeleteI love this trend so much. What I do not love is how I cannot find a pair of pants that looks perfectly slouchy without being too big. Curses of having large thighs.
ReplyDeleteI love your top and the bracelet is amazing :x kisses

I love how you styled these comfy pants! You definitely look ready to face the world and I agree with you about adding heels and jewelry. I have been contemplating adding a pair of these pants to my wardrobe - might just have to take the plunge now.

I love the idea of slouchy pants. I love the way they look on others. (And on you - man, you knocked this look out of the park! It's officially being pinned.) But I know myself. And I know that if I get pants that start crossing that border into too comfortable, I will want to wear them all the time, sitting on the couch and will wear them out in a hurry... plus, I'll never have the motivation to dress them up, or even leave the house while I have them on. I think the key might be to finding a pair of slouchy pants that look like yours but feel more like my work pants. Must get on that.

LOVE those pants!!! They look so comfortable and so perfect with your top!

I have a pair in beige - i have not worn them in a while but i have to admit that i feel like have to make a true effort wearing heels and adding accessories to make them look dressy.
ReplyDeleteGreat buy! I love the comfort and style of your pants paired with a pretty print. I like how you used the color as a print mix with the clutch Love leopard.

Those pants look super comfy, love this chic look. I wore some wide leg comfy pants while on vacay and my little girl said "are you wearing those pants outside everyone will think you're wearing pajamas" and bust out it to this loud laugh. Preschoolers, what do they know! ha
ReplyDeleteLove your pants and combination of the two prints!!
