Little Navy Dress

This is the first appearance of this navy dress on the blog, though I believe it's about the fifth time I've worn it since it arrived in June. I was lucky enough to have won it through Ginny's giveaway, and it's from Kika, an LA based company with the goal of stylish, yet sustainable fashion.

All of Kika's items are made in the USA and give you the option to customize the color of any piece. They are also made from eco friendly fabrics like organic cotton, and a polyester made from recycled water bottles. They even do limited edition runs of pieces made with repurposed fabric that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.

Dresses start at $85 and range to $140, which I think is quite reasonable, considering the aforementioned factors, not to mention how comfortable and wearable this dress is. The fabric is so soft, and the belt can be tied any way you like, or not at all.

P.S. It has pockets. (That just sold you on it, right?)

    I have never heard of Kika before but just checked out their site once I read yours. Seriously cute stuff there, and yes, dresses with pockets!!!!! This is great dress on you and the blue color is awesome. Loving your pendant chain as well. Great look.

    You really did get me at it has pockets! Ha ha, but it's true - somehow pockets on a dress make it so much more functional and, thus, that much cuter. Although the cut of this one doesn't hurt, either, nor the perfect navy shade; I love the way it so perfectly highlight the shades of blue in your jewelry and really makes the white of your sandals pop.
