I frequently keep an eye out for pieces on my 'lust list' filed away in the back of my mind when I shop secondhand, and have been strangely successful in finding many of them, especially those from J.Crew.

Love this leopard top on you! Really want to add more leopard and your last two posts are making me majorly covet (in fairness, I am wearing my Madewell leopard flats today! haha).

That is so awesome that you found that top, it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great find! J. Crew does tend to be recycled. If I am looking for something specific, chances are it's on eBay although usually still too high of a price for me.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than getting something on your lust list at a low price! and this top is one of my favorites! I wish I had purchased it also! I have the dress version, but I still want the top! Maybe I can "borrow" it from my mom :)

Isn't that the best feeling? When I was fresh out of college, I saw a DVF dress that I loved but couldn't afford. Two years later I found it on eBay for $60 and I still wear it. Delayed gratification makes me appreciate it even more. ;-) This tunic is gorgeous on you and I'm thrilled you were able to finally add it to your wardrobe.

What a fun top, and it looks great with those grey jeans. Great ring too, I love druzy.
ReplyDeleteAnother stellar thrift find. It's blouses like this that make me wonder why more people don't shop sales or at least give thrifting a go - a good piece is never out of style, even if it isn't from this year's collection, as this blouse clearing proves. (And I'm so envious that you found this beautiful blouse because it was also on my lust list years ago and hasn't found its way into my closet... yet. I'm still hopeful.)
