Today Chic on the Cheap turns six!

Every year that passes, I am so grateful that I get to sit here and reflect upon all the wonderful things this blog has brought into my life. The people who I have met, both in real life, and those only through their blogs who I feel like I know just as well, and the endless amount of encouragement and inspiration they have given me.

In some ways running this blog feels like a job; I post five days a week, often on holidays, and I haven't taken a 'vacation' in four years. But it's a commitment I love, and that is why even when it's 20° and snowing, I'm outside taking outfit photos. The blog is always on my mind; from wanting more interesting locations for outfit photos, to trying to arrange blogger meet-ups, as well as hosting more giveaways, and shopping of course. I am always thinking about shopping.

Getting to share my love of fashion, and bargains, and thrifting, and putting myself out there in a bold way this shy girl never imagined she could has been amazing. Thank you all so much for being here and making it possible.
