Purple mini skirt remix

Today I'm featuring my first ever reader request. The style challenge: a bright purple jewel tone mini skirt to be worn with sheer tights on the weekend.

I put together a couple looks for both evening and daytime, and while I chose a lot of neutrals, I also picked pieces with tons of texture. A blazer with leather panels, color blocked bags, bejeweled chambray, polka dot mesh, and so forth.

While solid sheer tights would work with every look, I think it would also be fun to try a pattern like mini checks or swiss dots, especially for the evening looks.
