Relaxed

I find this trend of lounge wear as outerwear to be somewhat amusing, and mildly delightful. That is, on those days when I find myself having little desire to put on actual clothes.

If there were a way to 'fake' getting dressed, this would be it. Slouchy pants, comfy tee; just throw on a few key accessories and I no longer look like I just rolled out of bed. Heels, because I'm convinced they are the easiest way to trick people into thinking this was a deliberate look and not just laziness. Sunglasses, so I don't have to bother with eye makeup, and a structured bag to compensate for lack of structure elsewhere.

    SO wish I could pull off a look like this. I'm a little too much of a pear to do the billowy track pants trend. Sometimes you just have to pass as much as you don't want to. You look perfectly polished for a casual look. My casual shouldn't leave the house.

    This is fabulous lady! You did this trend up right! I tried to find pants like that to add to my wardrobe this fall--the comfort factor really appealed to me--but I didn't have any luck. Love the ones you're wearing!

    Totally agree on the heels trick. Although when I was pregnant and couldn't wear heels, I have to say, I ended up being convinced that there is a way to rock flats or even tennies with the slouchy pant without looking like PJs. Love this casual look Lydia!

    I love how well you've mastered "faking" getting dressed. Even with heels, I still haven't figured out how to make sweatpants look like anything other than, well, sweatpants and the result is never anything like as pulled together as this is. I honestly would have thought you were wearing trousers if you hadn't said anything! This look is getting pinned for sure :)
