The event was hosted by Simply Majestic, a local jeweler. The Endless Jewelry line was created by Jesper Nielsen, the man behind Pandora who flew in from Copenhagen to attend. In addition to gifting and signing his new book to attendees, Mr. Nielsen also presented the first ever Endless Spirit award.
The main feature of the event was the Endless Jewelry line. Leather cord bracelets in a wide array of colors, along with an innumerable amount of charms, designed to create unique, individual pieces. Bracelets and charms were available to try on and buy, and I did quite like the simple white cord I tried on, though they are a bit expensive, the bands start at $70 and the charms range from $30 to $160. However a portion of all the sales at the event did go towards supporting the Sea Research Foundation and Mystic Aquarium.
For my evening look, it was blessedly the one day of the week it wasn't freezing or raining, so I swapped out my sneakers for heels, opted for a bolder necklace, and traded my tote for a clutch. I was so happy I didn't even need my cardigan! Mystic Seaport during the off season was the perfect spot to go and take photos. So pretty, no other tourists, and plenty of parking spots, haha.

ReplyDeleteI love this dress even more now, I didn't notice before the side zippers! I love anything with zippers and pockets! Of course the animal print makes it to die for! I also really like the over-sized fold over clutch!

That dress is gorgeous! I love the colors and print and zipper details on the pocket! How nice you had good weather. It's always a nice bonus because you just never know in the fall if that is going to happen!
ReplyDeleteYou took this look from day to night with so few changes and yet, it worked so perfectly! Despite the non-functionning pockets, you know I'm a huge fan of this dress and it's somehow even better paired with a deep burgundy manicure and gold rings. The colours are so perfect for fall! But honestly, how lucky were you that the weather wasn't fall-esque at all. Bare legs and arms in late October deserves serious celebration.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress for an evening out! And what a lovely photo spot. Finding a place without people is the hardest part of blogging. (Though when I'm traveling, I could care less. I just get nervous that I'll run into someone I know in Madison!)
