Holiday rewards

Kohl's recently rolled out a new shopper rewards program called "Yes to You". You receive points for every purchase you make, and get a $5 reward for every $100 you spend, in addition to special coupons. A few weeks ago Meg was invited to join the Yes to You Facebook group, and she then extended that invite to me.

I was gifted $50 in Kohl's cash, so I shopped at Kohl's the only way I know how - on the clearance racks. I found this grey Vera Wang skirt marked down to $20, the Lauren Conrad starburst necklace was clearanced to $5, and the pair of stacking rings were 40% off, so only $10.  I used the remainder to pick up a little half slip, a closet essential for wearing tights. The downside of Kohl's cash is that it can't be combined with other coupons until after the value of the cash is deducted.

Kohl's frequently has some great designer collaborations, and I love constantly receiving coupons which I can use on the entire store - 30% off a new Essie nail color? Yes please! Plus they have a fantastic return policy. I'm enjoying trying out the Yes to You rewards program and I'm sure after my holiday shopping I'll have some more Kohl's cash to spend!

    Now that sounds like a great program! I used to be a Kohls-only shopper. I get annoyed with the Kohls cash though sometimes because I forget about it and then when I go to use it--expired. I love Kohls' clearance section, though. The Best! I love the plaid peeking out of your pretty sweater!

    I used to be a dedicated Kohl's shopper - in fact, all of my bedding came from their Vera Wang collection. But it's been years since I've been in. I'm trying to think why that is and I suspect it's just less convenient to get to in Seattle than it was in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This outfit has me thinking I need to look a little harder to find a store next time I'm across the border, because the pieces are beautiful - especially that necklace!

    I have a Kohl's less than a mile from me and I go there maybe 2-3 times a year. I have a ton of gift cards from there so I am not sure why I don't shop there as often.
