Something about the shiny black snake embossed leather on this pair of Nike trainers made me want to dress them up with velvet and jewels. With all the running around on the holidays, I wondered if these trainers could be just glitzy enough to complete a party look - and I do think they are!
Even if I might not opt to wear them in place of heels all night, it's always good to have a backup, and they will most certainly add a lot of flare to my weekend looks. It's great to have the comfort of a Nike trainer with the style of fashion trainer. The monochromatic look sets these apart from so many other styles.
This weekend I will undoubtedly be doing a lot of running around! The last weekend before Christmas there will be no relaxing for me - I'm already worried about getting it all done; so many cookies to bake and gifts to wrap. My fellow procrastinators, it is time to rally.

I was just lamenting that I haven't baked a single cookie for Christmas this year. And come to think of it, haven't written a single card, either. It definitely is time for we procrastinators to rally, but to be honest, I still have so much to do that I have no idea when I'm going to find the time. Maybe trainers are the secret? I love how glamourous this pair is, they really do look lovely with your skirt and bet they're way more comfortable than the shoes you would normally have worn with this outfit!

Those are fun sneakers--I love the fancy snakeskin embossing! Nothing beats actually being comfortable at a holiday party!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute shoes! Perfect for running around.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all the last minute tasks! I'm terrified of going out to the shops so close to Christmas, even more so with baby in tow, so all my shopping is done thankfully. I just have to get the groceries for Christmas dinner, but that can be done locally, away from the huge crowds at the shopping malls!

Those shoes are great. I can't really get on board with the sneakers trend, but I love them on everyone else. Weird, I know.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love cute, dressy sneakers like those and I need a similar black pair myself. Looks great with the feminine, all-black outfit! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteThese are cute - i'd wear them! considering i am not the sneaker gal, so its a compliment.
