I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, I certainly enjoyed seeing a glimpse of it all through Instagram.
Strangely, for all the shopping I did in preparation of Christmas, I had little desire to go into a store, and did about 95% of it online. Now that the after Christmas sales have begun, I'm itching to go - even though I know I really shouldn't!

It is crazy how fast it goes by after all the preparation and excitement leading up to it! I realized when I was wrapping gifts and had so few actual receipts to hold onto that I had done most of my shopping online this year too. I hope you enjoyed the holiday. I'm loving this look; you look so good in hats!
ReplyDeleteI received this gloss too! It is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAlthough Christmas is over I am still enjoying to have my children around before they have to go back to their universities.
ReplyDeleteSame as you I did almost all my shopping online! Didn't dare to check out the sales yet ;-)
You look gorgeous as ever!

lovely look! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm head over heels in love with that scarf of yours! I haven't been to Zara in so long but I've been loving the pieces I've been seeing from them. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the holidays and have fun indulging in some more shopping!
Enjoyed reading your blog today! I will be following on bloglovin', can't wait to read more of what is to come!

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas - and I gotta say that you look impossibly cool in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is one of the best Christmas sweaters I've seen this year!

This hat though, you look so chic. Can't believe Christmas is over.

Happy 2015 to you. You sure can wear a hat and Yes all the excitement is over. . .sadly.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous outfit, this is so awesome because I just got a blanket scarf yesterday, and this is a great way to the style it.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Honestly, the last thing I want to do is shop. Being at home with my family makes me remember how unimportant clothes are, buuuuut then there's another great sale or a pretty item shortly after. Oh well. :-)

great hat, scarf and booties. love this look on you!

It is so true the Holidays build for s month of preparation and are over in a snap You look gorgeous in the all black with the blanket scarf http://lachiquitamissi.com
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf against the black! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Christmas! I have some gift cards for Christmas I'll be looking forward to spending, but not until next year. Want to relax and enjoy what I have first, it was a great Christmas! :)
Away From The Blue
You aren't the only one wanting to go shopping! I love catching a few sales and completing the rest of my wish list! Love this adorable outfit! Perfect for getting some of that retail therapy done! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so burned out on shopping - isn't that terrible? Worst. Blogger. Ever. I seriously envy your enthusiasm right now because there are so many deals to be had! Love those boots, btw.
ReplyDeleteLove this scarf!! I'm still kicking myself for not getting it, but at the time I was thinking... not another, I have too many already.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Christmas, too! I also did most of my shopping online. I ended up short on time this year.
It really does go by so quickly, doesn't it? We spend a month or more in a frantic rush to get everything ready, and then, in twenty-four hours, it's all done. But it is wonderful while it lasts - at least, it was for me, and I hope it was for you, too :) And I hope you've done better at post holiday shopping than I have, so far I've been pretty uninspired by what I've found, but I'm sure that won't last. Oh, and most important - this outfit is perfect. Especially your hat and scarf combination!
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
Christmas shopping was pretty stress free for us this year since the majority was done online too. I did indulge in some after Xmas sales today but all online too.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit on you...it looks so chic!

Awesome look! I am loving the hat and scarf - those two pieces are so cool they almost make it not matter with the rest. ALthough it would probably be cold to go butt naked with only hat and scarf ;)

I always find I am more in the spirit leading up to Christmas than at actual Christmas events. It just seems that I have to endure all the rushing, travelling and visiting quickly with family before moving onto the next thing.
ReplyDeleteI am actually more at ease today sitting at home again relaxing.
Loving this sleek dark look.
Really perfect look, lovely this scarf, perfect dear.

See you soon
I have to agree with Jane about liking the spirit leading up to the holidays! I do enjoy the sitting around the tree and opening gifts and stuffing yourself silly with goodies, but it's the baking and holiday aromas and lights that really get me and put me in the Christmas spirit.
ReplyDeleteI love that plaid scarf on you, Lyddie! A Happy New Years is in order, I suppose. ;)
I love your scarf! xx

It is crazy how quickly it goes away after all those expectations and rush to be ready to celebrate. Yet it was wonderful Christmas & I hope for you as well. I haven't done any sale shopping, I feel uninspired. I feel like stock what is out is nothing much & most of it's 20% off not us usual 50% or more.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great classic look. I love how few simple accessories can change all look.

I feel the same way; I did most of my shopping online and now I'm really itching to shop "for real". I love this classic, chic ensemble! Pinning for winter inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI agree-Christmas is always over in a flash. I didn't do any in store shopping either--way too crazy. But I did take advantage of some of the sales on 12/26 online.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have a ton of hats, I still want yours. Lovely look!
