This day is a gift

It is the season to be thankful for everything. Thankful for an odd warm day in December when bare legs are a possibility, for being able to celebrate the holidays with all my family, for having a job once again, and being able to enjoy shopping for gifts and buying cards.

This past weekend I went to New York City with Sean. We celebrated one year since our first date. It rained torrentially on Saturday and was freezing cold yesterday, which interfered with my wardrobe, but nothing else.

I loved going to see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center, not just for the grandeur of it, but to see all the families gathering there, parents taking their little children, who get swept up in the magic of the season, giving them memories to last their lifetime; I know I will always have mine, and always be thankful for them.
