The tree is up, but unadorned. Baby steps. The Christmas cards got written out, but I forgot the small detail of stamps. A few more gifts purchased, and wrapping has commenced. Progress has been made, but I still fear I'll never get everything I want done. Is anyone else with me on postponing Christmas for just another week?

This is the perfect look for tree shopping! I always think I have it all under control until yesterday when I was freaking that I'm still not done shopping and that I too forgot to pick up stamps to mail out my cards! :(
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable tree hunting outfit!! You look so pretty! I love that hat!

Great wellies. I love that hat, I have a fur hat that is massive but very warm. You look great. We just got a tree on the weekend, even though it will be next year when we get back, lol. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's never too late to get your tree, unless it's on December 26 & then I'd say it's late! I love your cable knit sweater. Perfect for keeping warm. :] // ▲ itsCarmen.com ▲
ReplyDeleteyou're seriously killing me with that hat. It's amazing!

Last year I was late too… BUT in order to make the best of it and most, I took it down at the end of January.
ReplyDeleteI love the boots!

I can't believe it is 10 days until Christmas either! I always say better late than never with the tree. I would have rocked that hat and those boots also. They look great and that hat is so fun (and warm I bet!)!

Oh my gosh! I need a hat like that. I wish we could have a real tree but I fear what my cat would do. I'm pretty much done with Christmas prep. I just got everything wrapped and those packaged up that need to be sent out. I feel much better now.
ReplyDeleteI love these fuzzy hats and although I think it would look terrible I think it looks so cute on you.

The tree hunt sounds fun and you look the part too, love it :) I forgot the stamps too, so my cards have to wait a bit too. Oops!
ReplyDeleteI second the motion! Postpone it even for 1 more day! I am feeling more and more stressed about it all! That hat is adorable on you!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are adorable! I absolutely second the motion to postpone all things Christmas until next week... Or until I'm really ready, which will probably in March ;) Of course we can go on with taking fun Christmas photos. I've never once considered that I might need a chapka, but seeing yours - the fur is just lovely - makes me wonder how on earth I haven't acquired one much soon. Well styled, my friend, well styled.

I love these photos!!! We bought a fake tree last year and even though I miss the scent of the tress, I must say - it's so convenient. We had the house all decorated Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah, it's such a busy season! We actually decided to forgo the tree this year to save our sanity and just enjoy the other decorations in the house. There's always next year!
ReplyDelete...Killer boots, btw.
I've been lovingly referring to this season as one foot in front of the other. Sounds like you are making progress to me. You look adorable for your tree outing!

We made it out to a tree farm on Saturday, but still picked out a precut one! It's so much easier to judge the height when it's not growing on a hill! Haha.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! Do you like your Joules boots?

In love with your boots hun!!!

Aw Lyddie, you'll get it all done! I have faith in you! I have a few things to finish up myself. My exams seemed to stretch out longer this time around (they ended on a Friday, when usually I get lucky and get out a few days early!) so I'm sort of there with you. I guess I don't really have to work or anything, though. ;) I'm rooting for you, lovely!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are you in that hat! I love this look from head to toe!
