I was taking no chances of being cold this past weekend while helping my Sister get moved into her new apartment outside of Boston. I layered my fur vest over my cashmere sweater, and wore a silk shirt under that. To top it off, my parka.
Needless to say, I was pretty warm, although I should have had on some wool socks too.

Our lease renews in February and I'm dreading the year we decide to move out. Moving in the winter can't be any fun! And you look all kinds of adorable for moving day!
Moving in the winter? Your poor sister! And you, too - I did it once myself, when we lived in Winnipeg, and it was absolutely no fun at all. With that said, it sounds like your creative layering paid off. And if this look was what you had on underneath your parka, kudos to you for putting together the most stylish moving day outfit of all time. Seriously. In your place, I definitely would have been wearing yoga pants ;) xox, Cee
The red trim on your purse is so fun! I love the red gloves, too! I think you won the 'best sister ever' award for helping your sister move, especially in such cold weather!
I love that you dressed up this casual look for such a hard task as moving. Gorgeous pairing of camel and red. Your fur vest is wonderful, I like the length, I find it very hard to find perfect length fur vest, because most of them are too long for me making me look like eaten by vest. xoxo Ramona
Your vest, your gloves, your tortoise necklace - It is all about the pretty accessories in the Winter to make us feel more put-together and not like the Winter is dragging on. =)
So pretty!! Loving the fur and those red gloves are amazing!!
