Blizzarding is a word. Okay? I feel like these photos don't accurately capture the onslaught of snow I was dealing with, which is disappointing. When a person drives to the beach to take photos with a timer during a snow storm, that should be quite evident.
At least I had a coat with a nice hood to keep me warm; a coat I thought was gone, until I found it in a garbage bag while sorting through some of my sister's things.
I got this coat in 2009... I even did a blog post on it, though this was before I was taking outfit photos. When my sister went away to school three years ago she took it with her and I hadn't seen it since.
Once rediscovered, I revived the wrinkled mess of a coat with my new clothing steamer, brushed out the fur trim, removed the pills with a sweater comb, and finally went over it with a lint roller. Good as new.

Woohoo! Love that coat, glad you found it again! :D At least the good thing about snow is not many people will be in your beach pictures ;) http://www.closet-fashionista.com/
I hope you are staying warm. The snow is beginning to cause me to have cabin fever. I love your coat. I don't own a single coat with a hood. With all of these frigid temps I am realizing how much of a mistake that is.
These photos look beautiful and, I have to admit, not blizzardy at all - which is a shame if you were suffering with wind and heavy snow while you took them. But the results are truly lovely. And what a lucky find with that coat! I have to say, I almost never find things again after I've passed them on - in general I don't regret it, but every once in a while a trend comes around again and I wish I'd kept something, Or, as the case may be, when cold weather comes around and I need a warmer coat! xox, Cee
Beautiful photos! Wonderful coat - I am sure you are happy to have found it again. I think it is about time for me to do some shoots with coats because it is downright Frigid right now.
I'm glad that you were able to revive the coat, it's perfect for the blizzard weather. Lovely photos, it always looks so nice when it snows, although too cold. :) <3 Weekend Style For Him
I love that belt! And your duck boots are super cute, too! It's the perfect time to find a coat and revive the 'warm weather clothing' section of your closet!
Wow! You are committed! If I had to deal with all that snow you probably wouldn't see me take a photo outside for months...haha. It's great when old things become new again. I hope it's keeping you warm! ~Jessica Jeans and a Teacup
I think the coat is a buried treasure, I love it! And you totally rock for braving the blizzard to take (beautiful) pictures. I hope you had some hot chocolate after to warm up!!
Your coat / parka is the exact one I have been on the hunt for. I loveeee it. I know that I would get little to no use out of it in Miami but I haven't bothered to think about that portion of my hunt, since I can't find one - is that because you snagged the last one? :)
Brrr! Can't even relate to blizzarding -- lol, but you're making it look good!!
