It seems like our record colds are going to be following us around for a bit longer, and the roaring winds of March are still going strong, which has been making for some interesting hair photos.
Rather than post my outfits in proper sequential order, I felt like getting these snowy ones, and all my boring discussion of the weather out of the way. It's hard not to talk about it, because I'm out in it, it is directly affecting what I'm wearing, and how much faking is involved in my smile. Here, no faking involved. It was snowing, but it was actually pretty warm.
I was wondering, does anyone know of a style blogger who is also a meteorologist? Because that would actually be pretty interesting.

ReplyDeleteI am all for the vintage vibe going on here !
ReplyDeleteThe leopard print, the ring and of course that amazing necklace…. oh I want to wear it.
That Cavernous box is the gift that keeps on giving !
I don't know what else to say about this weather! You look lovely and your hair looks gorgeous, so full and healthy looking.
ReplyDeleteWe just had a big dump of snow here (you gotta love "spring" in northern Canada) so I've been rather enjoying myself. And I totally love this outfit (that jacket and necklace combo is perfection).

Yes, a style-blogging meteorologist would be pretty awesome! And I think your hair is fab, as is that necklace. Glad it was warmer despite the snow, but I do hope some real spring weather heads your way soon. You've been getting pummeled by winter this year!!
ReplyDeleteOH noooooo! I am so sorry about the snow, but I guess you are rather used to this sort of lovely surprise.
ReplyDeleteomg you are so strong for dealing with the snow, but that jacket is EVERYTHING!

What an interesting thought! I never gave a second thought to the weather, other than brief annoyance, before I started taking outfit photos but will freely admit that I'm not obsessed with tracking forecasts. It would be so interesting if someone who worked in meteorology actually had a fashion blog, too! I haven't seen one yet, though. Still as bloggers I think we can't help taking an interest in the weather since it can have such a huge impact on what we do - and if we can do it at all. Your triumph against the crazy snow through this winter has been impressive to say the least!

You know, I never thought of that but that would be very interesting and handy also! I am sorry for all the snow and cold--you should move to Colorado! We've had hardly any snow this winter or spring. I love this coat on you so there is a plus for winter wear for you!
ReplyDeleteLydia, I can understand you so well! The weather is not only deciding on my clothes but also on my mood... and lastly on my health since I've caught a nasty cold. Yes the snow comes and goes at this time of the year but it won't really feel like spring until it is finally gone.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, your coat is gorgeous and I especially love your statement necklace (and your hair but that's always the case!!)

We missed the last snow that moved through, but it is supposed to get cold again this weekend. Luckily for us, we will be on a boat in the Caribbean. Yay! That necklace is so unique and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is stunning I hope you get some spring weather soon.

It seems like I am in good company getting all my snowy outfit photos out of the way! It's so frustrating when you get a taste of warm weather only to have it change the next day. I love how your all black ensemble sets off that gorgeous vintage-like necklace!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique necklace! It's been nicer here lately, but definitely into the warm weather you think of when you hear "spring."
ReplyDeleteI continue to love this leopard coat. Also, your hair looks extra glam in these pictures! I'm so over the cold and I find that I can't stop talking about it either (oops).
ReplyDeleteYou need to come out and visit California where it will 90s this week. I always love seeing this coat on you and how amazing is that necklace!
