Over the knee

This winter (Last winter? Eh. Still feels like winter.) I had two pairs of boots I wanted to add to my closet. The first was a pair of black booties, and the second was a pair of grey over the knee boots.

I was lusting after the gorgeous pairs by Stuart Weitzman and Gianvito Rossi, but they are so ridiculous over my budget it wasn't even worth considering as a splurge. Determined to find the perfect less expensive alternative, I began my hunt.

The first was a Dolce Vita pair, which were super comfortable and quite beautiful, but not really over the knee boots, they came up a bit short and I didn't like how the suede bunched under my knee. The second pair was by Report Signature. I like the idea of a lower heel, but they pinched my toes too much. Finally, the third pair I tried were the winners - Ivanka Trump Atilla. I ended up going a half size up in these because I have somewhat wide feet. I managed to get them for $80 at DSW by taking advantage of a promotion.

Now I'm just trying to get as much wear in as I can this spring!
