Blushing blooms

These photos are about a week old now, and every last one of these petals has now fallen to the ground. It's sad how fleeting these blooms are, but I sill adore them none the less. It's sort of my unofficial mission to take my outfit photos with as many different flowering trees as I possibly can before they are all gone.

On this day I decided to drag Chloe along with me, even though she is not a fan of taking outfit photos, I love having her with me. A few months ago I even stated a new Pinterest board dedicated to just fashionable people and their pooches, and I think it's become my favorite of all my boards.

Hard to believe another weekend is gone, and we are swiftly moving through May. Overnight it turned to summer, yesterday was 80°, so of course everywhere was packed for Mother's Day and the traffic was a bit of a nightmare. Nonetheless, we still had a great day. I hope everyone had a lovely weekend with their Moms!

    Even if Chloe hates taking outfit photos, I fully support you bringing her along for them because she always looks so cute - although not always 100% pleased to be having her picture taken, I admit, but I think that's part of her charm :) I love that the colour of your outfit subtly match the hue of the cherry blossoms. Ours are long gone now, sadly, but I did manage to capture one fleeting set of photos with them... I should probably post them soon ;)

    Well I woke up yesterday morning to snow. Yep. So I wish I had had your 80 degree day. I also get so sad when the pretty flowering trees are gone and I also try to take as many OOTD photos by or around them before they are gone for a whole other year. I love the blazer here and although she hates blog photos, Chloe does look totally cute in these!
