This spring I'm trying to get myself reacquainted with color and print and some of the wardrobe elements that I would define as a bit more whimsical, while still trying to keep things grounded in neutrals.
A little print mix here, a pop of color there... I think I'm headed in the right direction.

Wow, I absolutely love your backdrop. The flowering trees are spectacular… and i like the mix print. I also have a sudden urge to find me a shirtdress.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting seeing this post right after reading your most recent comment on my blog. The last thing I ever crave in my wardrobe is colour, so when anyone veers towards neutrals, it seems like such a natural progression to me - but the truth is, you've always been a colour girl and you wear them so well. To me, this look is 100% you. And although I'd likely never feel comfortable wearing it, I love the mix of prints from your dress and scarf.

I need to add more color to my outfits too, well...bright color. I wear plenty of darker colors, ha ha. I love that scarf, it was such a great print and really cute with the tassels!

Hope to see you Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.
Such a well done spring look! This is totally up my alley. I've been trying to do the same. I've been wearing lots of blue and white lately, so I'm trying to get back into other colors. Blue and white are my weakness.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you mixed prints without making the look seem busy! So pretty :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful patterns all in to one- I love it. You look stunning! I would love to have you come by and link up any of your posts with "Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me." This link up goes live every Tuesday and I feature my favorite 5 from the week before each Tuesday.
