I may have claimed from time to time that I don't like to be 'matchy', but it's hard to resist pairing things that just seem to want to be together.

ooooh! I love the bright colors on that skirt! I'm really considering getting something with fruit or palm prints, seems to be trending a lot this season. And your nails, fabulous! -R

I know it isn't always considered stylish, but I am willing to admit freely that I have a great passion for machines. There's something so satisfying about a pair of shoes that goes perfectly with a handbag, or the same shade of red polish on your finger and toenails. This is probably why I favour neutrals, because it makes matchy-ness easy but not obvious. It's a lot harder to pull off when neon yellow is involved. But somehow, you totally made it work in this outfit and the results are fabulous. I would never have thought that neon yellow and khaki green could be such a natural match, even though I've seen this clutch before, but when you expanded on the theme for this look, it really worked. And I need to take a minute to talk about those sandals, too. Because if ever a pair of flat sandals could convince me to wear flats more often, these are them. Love!
