Should have blogged this sooner

Back in September at the RewardStyle Fashion Week party I received a gift bag from Piperlime with this silk tank in it, only I never took outfit photos of it in the fall, and now Piperlime is sadly gone.

Clearly, it's all my fault. If only I'd worn this tank sooner I could have changed the fate of Piperlime (which I will sorely miss).

    While your wearing this tank sooner probably wouldn't have saved Piperlime, I do regret their closure and wish that something could have been done to have them. But I think a big part of the reason for their demise was the fact that they took so long to start shipping to Canada. I used to live browsing Piperlime but after so many years of disappointment at not being able to access the amazing things I found, I simply gave up. And so, too, I think, did a lot of other enthusiastic Canadian online shoppers, turning instead to places like J. Crew and Piperlime's sister stores, Banana Republic and Gap, to get their online shopping fix. It's a shame - especially since this top is so cute!

    I will miss Piperlime as well (I wish you could have saved them by wearing this for photos earlier!). It's a great top, and it looks awesome with all the white (you're so brave to wear all white).

    What a great black & white outfit. I will miss Piperlime, I am bummed that it wasn't successful. I loved using my rewards to buy higher end items that I otherwise would not have.

    This is a lovely blouse! It's true, I don't think I have gotten over the loss of Piperlime either. They had a really great corner of the market-- trendy and young, and not quite as expensive as Shopbop, etc. Sigh.
