While we could have asked for better weather, it was a long overdue lunch date and it was lovely to chat and catch up with some of my favorite bloggers after such a long time.
And I suppose that Meg and I are no strangers to faking it through an outfit shoot and pretending the inclement weather isn't bothering us in the least.
*Freezing cold is a relative term. In the winter it means 32° and below, in the summer it means 65° and below.

I love this skirt- and your hair is slayin' it here. Also, not weird at all you photoshopped the raindrops off the bag! I would've totally done the same. :)

Such a great look! And I am drooling over the bag!!!
ReplyDeletei like your skirt

I know exactly what you mean, anything below 65' would be considered freezing in July! Love the skirt, such a cute ootd for girls out. -R

I was just thinking that the other day when it was 65 and raining--it's freezing! But if it were December, I'd be out in bare legs and celebrating! LOL I love your skirt, sandals and bangle!
ReplyDeleteMy range of comfort is really only a few degrees (maybe 79-81F). This summer has been so cool and rainy. I hope we have a better fall. This is the perfect outfit for a get together with the girls
ReplyDeleteYep...the weather was bad, but the company was good! So overall an awesome day! :D

Every time I read about you guys all getting together I get super nostalgic --- sorry about the crappy weather though!

I totally agree, cold is relative! Summer needs to me 80 degrees or more. I love your striped, fitted skirt -- pairing it with black really makes it stand out!

Love the skirt and your hair is so healthy. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love that turquoise necklace even more today than I did yesterday. There's something about the way the turquoise shade pops with the blue and gold stripes in your skirt - which, frankly, is a piece that I also love but that I don't think I've ever loved better than in this look. It's mid work day at this point so I don't have a ton of original thoughts to say, but suffice to say that this outfit will no doubt be my favourite of the week.

Summer weather here has been crazy too--right now it's super hot but we've had so much rain and strange chilly weather. I love this look though, you know I'm a stripes fan :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect outfit for a meet up! I love your bracelet!
ReplyDeleteI wished I knew how to use photoshop to take out things I don't like. Very pretty skirt and sound like you had a nice time with some blogging friends.

I love your skirt! And oh, I feel your pain with faking it through the elements. I hate when I have to photoshop my nose to be a normal colour instead of being purple from the cold!

Beautiful outfit, the skirt is gorgeous!!!!

You're hair looks amazing! You're so right though about "cold" being a relative term depending on the season... We can all start bundling up for the fall when it gets to 50 degrees :)
ReplyDeleteYou may have been chilly, but you still look absolutely gorgeous in these photos! (How come my hair can't hold a beautiful curl like that?! ;-) )

You faked it well because you only look cool in the elegant and calm sense!

Thanks for clearing up that freezing thing. I love that, because anytime it rains and gets slightly cooler, I find myself chilly. Bodies are weird things, man.
ReplyDeleteThat bracelet is really catching my eye--I adore bracelets that are open like that. They're so adjustable and have a hint of an Egyptian look to them!
