My Sister said I looked like I could be on a post card in these photos, which is fine with me. I feel more than ever we take photos not so much to remember a moment, but with the intent of sharing it with others to say "wish you were here", but not in a terribly sincere way.
Truthfully, these photos are not reflective of a fun beach day, but rather a brief stop during the days errands. So don't feel like you were missing out.
Mostly, these photos are about the poms. I'm obsessed. I bought this overnight bag from Target online, and was very surprised when it showed up with these fabulous pom-poms, as they were not in the photo!
I'm sure they will be jumping from bag to bag all summer, they add so much whimsy.

Your sister is right - you do look like you're in a postcard in these photos! But I think it's in a good way. It's easy to get caught up in thinking that our constant photo taking is disingenuous when we really are doing it almost daily, but when I start to think of things that way, I try to remind myself - and try to hope - that we take the opportunity to capture moments because we are able to do it. I mean, people invented cameras for this exact reason, because they felt that they couldn't keep their memories in a meaningful way that they could cherish without some tangible representation of them. That said, let's face it, when you are posting many outfits every week, some of them are going to be shot between errands. It happens. At least you looked fabulous doing the errands! The pompoms on that bag really are too cute, and your dress reminds me the china blue ones from the Valentino collection a few years ago which, by the way, I adored. xox, Cee
LOL Ain't it always the way? I get to visit such pretty places . . . for fifteen minutes while I take my photos. LOL I love this dress and yes to that bag! Loving that bag! I've not been able to buy any pom pom laden clothing (shopping ban), but I cannot wait until I can indulge! They are so cute!
These definitely look like they could be postcards (you so do not look like you're making a pit stop in the midst of a busy day of errands). And how cute are those poms?
