Neon summer

There are still several things I want to do before this summer officially comes to a close. I still haven't had a proper beach day, gone to an amusement park, had a picnic, or gone on a boat. Some of these things are just popping into my head as I write this, now that the last week of August has commenced and the reality that fall will be here before I know it is sinking in.

These photos are representative of crossing a different item off the list, watching the sunset at the beach. While it was not the most spectacular showing, it was peaceful, relaxing, and just what we need sometimes between work and errands (and outfit photos).

    I always leave it until the last few weeks to cross items off my summer 'to-do' list and honestly it makes for the most fun weeks! You look lovely! That skirt is gorgeous!

    Those sandals! I truly will never tire of them, they're just gorgeous and they seem to look perfect with everything you pair them with - although really, how could they not? And I have to say, I'm surprisingly fond of your skirt, too. If there is any colour I like that is truly outside of my normal comfort zone it is, strangely, neon yellow and I always love seeing the different ways that people wear it because to me, it's a shade that is unexpectedly versatile. And have to say, I think you've proven me right with this look ;)

    And since our "rainy season" will be cut short, I too have a list of pendings before the summer season arrives 4 months earlier… this is mostly yard work and planting.
