At this point I'd say at least a third of my wardrobe was purchased from a thrift store, or at least secondhand, via consignment, ebay, or tag sale.
Today everything I'm wearing, save for jewelry and sunglasses, was thrifted, and it's entirely possible that I spent more money on my sunglasses alone ($60) than I did on everything else I've got on combined.

I had no idea there was a national day in honor of thrifting! I guess that gives me a reason to head out and shop! You really have some fantastic thrifted pieces!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that national thrift day existed! Although I must say, your wardrobe full of deals and steals is certainly worth celebrating, I always admire your tenacity and find myself wishing that I loved somewhere with better thrift options - some cities are great for thrifting, while others are not, and Vancouver definitely doesn't make the great list (but maybe one day - a girl can dream.) Your vintage Coach bags are among my favourite of your thrift finds, this red one especially. The cherry shade is just too lovely!

I'm such a sucker for red, white and blue :) And can we talk about that pup?! Adorable!!

Woohoo for thrifting!!! Most of my wardrobe was not bought full price, but not much of it has been "thrifted" unless you count the consignment stores ;)

That should be a national holiday!

Aaaaaawwwwww yeeeeeeeah National Thrift Shop Day! I didn't know until it was too late to include it in my post, but I was wearing all thrift pieces (minus the purse) now that I think about it! As you know, a hefty part of my closet is thrifted also. I think it makes my style much more unique, varied and cost effective! Love your pretty blouse!
ReplyDeleteYou are a thrifting queen! That lace blouse is so pretty!

We should start a petition for national thrift shop day to be a holiday. We could all observe it by having the day off and spending it thrifting.
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your top and bag together, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteReally cute. Love the red bag!

This lace top is so pretty, I love the navy with the red so much.

I used to do a lot more thrift store shopping, and recently I've been wanting to do more of it. You find so many amazing things at thrift stores, you're part of the reason I've been feeling that little tug to go again!
ReplyDeleteSuch a classic combination. I love that Coach bag.

I had no idea national thrift shop day was even a thing but I certainly would have celebrated by going to a thrift store today if I had the time and it had been on my radar. Love your lace top.
ReplyDeleteSuch great finds! That top is so gorgeous!!

I had no idea! National Thrifting Day happened and I was none the wiser. Ah well. That's pretty incredible to have an entire outfit cost less than a pair of sunglasses. They are so darling on you, and I always adore that purse of yours.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with your thrifting. I don't own a single thrifted piece. I don't have the patience or the eye for it. I end up mad LOL. Such a cute look! Love it.

Would love to see you Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.
I admire your wonderful thrift finds. My local thrift shops have a poor and not much exciting selection. Every time I go in (it is very, very rarely) I leave empty handed. You look so pretty in this ladylike look.
