Case of the Mondays

This is definitely a tough Monday to get back into work and to life after my busy weekend. For as much fun as I had, I don't like not having at least one weekend day to be home and do my chores and get ready for the week ahead.

But still, the trade off was good. Family one day, bloggers the next. Having not been to NYC in a while it was nice to get to soak in the sights of the city and it's beauty, and fun to socialize with other bloggers, both getting to meet the amazing women who I only know through the internet, and those who I'm just finding out about for the first time. It seems no matter how many blogs I view and follow, there are always dozens more to be discovered.

    Yea, my past few weekends have been busy busy busy. Luckily this weekend I had a do nothing Saturday, haha. But the next few are going to be busy again

    Seeing your instagram photos from the RewardStyle arty in NYC has me even more excited to visit the city next week. I haven't been for years so it seemed like going after Fashion Week and really just enjoying New York was the thing to do, but the RewardStyle party, and all of the other Fashion Week madness, always looks like so much fun, too. I do envy your proximity to New York, even if you don't get there very often. The closest city to me is Seattle and, while I love it, it really doesn't compare ;) Also, more summer fashion, yay! I'm so happy still seeing you in sun dresses, especially since it's now gotten so cold here that I had to close all of our windows... and turning the heat on will be next.

    I could not agree with your more about weekends. As much as I have fun on busy weekends filled with family and friends I just do not feel ready for the new week if I haven't had a day to myself (to do chores, have some alone time, and to relax).
